Every Dureta piece is produced to order, one at a time. Below is how the two products are built, and the finishes they come in.
Canvas
The canvas
Archival-grade canvas, 340 gsm poly-cotton blend with a matte/satin finish, printed with museum-quality giclée technology. It is resistant to scratching, cracking and warping.
Stretching & wrapping
The canvas is stretched over wooden stretcher bars 3.5 cm (1.75 in) deep. The image is wrapped around the edges as a mirrored continuation, so nothing from the composition is cut away at the sides.
Floating frame
Each canvas is set in a floating frame made from solid real wood, so the canvas sits within the frame rather than behind it. Available in an Oak or Dark Oak finish.
Ready to hang
Sawtooth hanging hardware is included and pre-installed, so the canvas can go on the wall as it arrives.
Formats
Landscape and portrait from 60 × 40 cm to 150 × 100 cm, and square in 80 × 80 cm and 120 × 120 cm.
Finishes
Oak is a warm, natural wood tone. Dark Oak is a deeper, darker tone in the same profile. Both can be previewed on your own artwork before ordering.
Fine Art Print
The print
Archival-grade fine art paper, 230 gsm with a textured matte surface, printed with museum-quality giclée technology. It can be ordered either framed or as a print only.
Frames
Handmade wooden frames from Italy, in four finishes: Oak, Dark Wood, Black and White. Each one is shown on your artwork in the preview.
Glazing
Framed prints for Europe are glazed with real glass, except for the 70 × 70 cm and 70 × 100 cm formats, which use acrylic glass. Framed prints for the United States are glazed with shatter-resistant acrylic glass.
Formats & layouts
Portrait and landscape from 30 × 40 cm to 140 × 100 cm, and square in 70 × 70 cm and 100 × 100 cm. Choose a bordered layout with typography, or Full Bleed, where the artwork is printed edge to edge without borders or text.
Production
Made on demand
Nothing is printed in advance. Each piece is made on demand from sustainably sourced materials once your order is confirmed, and estimated delivery is 7–14 business days including production and transit.
